Startup Portugal and Startup Genome have joined forces with The Next Web, Dealroom, and PwC Portugal to host the 2023 Startup Ecosystem Leadership Forum on the evening of November 14 in Lisbon, during the Web Summit conference. The forum brings together a network of government leaders and private sector representatives from over 60 countries to foster dialogue on startup ecosystem development. The most recent Ecosystem Leadership Forums took place at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2023 in Melbourne and The Next Web 2023 in Amsterdam.

The event will facilitate exchange on key challenges, best practices, and global collaboration opportunities at multiple levels, including government policy and program design, ecosystem and community practices, & startup support organizations and programs. It will include interactive content on specific topics such as Funding Policy, Program Portfolio Strategy, and Scaleup Ecosystem Development. This event is part of broader efforts by Startup Genome and Startup Portugal to further connect the Portuguese ecosystem with key global leaders and markets, including The United States, United Kingdom, and Southeast Asia.
