The CARIBEquity Digital Ecosystem Tool has been designed to make the results of the regional startup ecosystem benchmarking study accessible, actionable, and engaging for stakeholders across the Caribbean. Building on Startup Genome’s experience powering interactive visualizations for the Global Startup Ecosystem Report (GSER), the tool translates complex data into a clear, intuitive, and visually compelling microsite that supports informed decision-making. By turning raw analytics into interactive charts, ecosystem profiles, and comparative dashboards, the platform strengthens regional understanding and provides a shared evidence base for policy and ecosystem development efforts.

Structurally, the platform organizes insights into a guided, scroll-based interface built around five core components: Ecosystem Lifecycle Phases, Success Factor performance, strengths and gaps, regional comparisons, and funding activity. Each element uses color-coded indicators and concise explanations to help users understand where each ecosystem stands and how it compares to others in the Caribbean.

A key feature is the set of individual ecosystem pages, which present lifecycle placement, Success Factor scores, and ecosystem-specific insights in a standardized, easy-to-navigate layout. These pages offer a clear snapshot of each territory’s performance, enabling policymakers, ecosystem builders, and development partners to quickly identify priority areas for action.

Complementing this, the platform includes interactive comparison and ranking views, allowing users to contrast ecosystems across multiple indicators. These visualizations highlight regional leaders, structural challenges, and opportunities for targeted intervention. Funding and exit charts — while acknowledging the region’s limited data availability — serve both as essential indicators of ecosystem maturity and as a call to action for improved reporting and transparency.

A resources map and a practical directory containing key ecosystem-relevant organizations across the region complement the site and can help identify and connect with relevant stakeholders in specific ecosystems and across the region.

Overall, the CARIBEquity platform transforms analytical findings into an accessible public resource that enhances communication, supports alignment among stakeholders, and lays the foundation for strategic, evidence-driven ecosystem development across the region.
